AWEF is not a regulated legal-advice provider. Where a matter needs regulated or specialist advice, we help connect you with a qualified professional.

AWEF is not an emergency service.

How can I get involved as a volunteer?
Head to our Get involved page or get in touch and let us know your skills and availability. We run a range of community activities and would love to have you on the team.
How do I become a member of the AWEF community?
Visit our Membership page to compare membership levels. Free membership can be started online; our team will personally arrange paid memberships until secure checkout is fully connected.
Who does AWEF support?
We support African women, refugees and asylum seekers and their families, providing holistic support across health, education, social inclusion, economic empowerment and the environment.
How is AWEF funded and where does the money go?
AWEF is a UK registered charity (number 1191388). Donations fund our Health (WRAP), Education, Social Inclusion, Economic Empowerment and Environment programmes directly, and everything we do is community-driven and community-led.
